Dawud Wharnsby – FeedMe Winter 2012 Charity Concert

Famous folks singer, Dawud Wharnsby will be performing together with Nader Khan (Canadian muslim singer) in a concert to fight against hunger for free. The concert will be held tomorrow (Tuesday) is in conjunction with the FeedMe Hunger campaign organised by SeekersWorks.

According to the organizer, 1 in 5 resident in Mississauga lives below the poverty line and 68% of food bank clients are families with children. 78% of their monthly income is spent on rent.

The free concert is set to help raising awareness about the hunger issue and raising $50,000 to help fighting hunger in GTA.
