Zain Bhikha, the iconic South African nasheed singer has finally announced the release of his latest album entitled “Songs of a Soul”, on the 1st of May 2014.
This new album is all the compilation of his 20 years in the industry, featuring some of his famous songs such as “First We Need Love” and “Who I Am“. Zain Bhikha has also included several tracks of voice-only studio versions of his songs, giving this album a touch of his personality and captivating feel of his singing voice. “Songs of a Soul” will introduce 4 new songs, and features 4 equally well known nasheed artists: Dawud Wharsnby, Khalid Berhouzi, Khalil Ismail and his son, Rashid Bhikha. All of these are available in 2-disc audio CD.
To commemorate 20 years of Zain’s musical journey, a special 3-disc DVD pack will be released worldwide. The 3-disc DVD contains Zain’s live concert of over 21 songs featuring fellow artists (Dawud Wharnsby, Khalid Belrhouzi, Khalil Ismail and Omar Reagan) together with an insightful documentary of Zain’s 20 years journey through his fans, friends and fellow artists. The commemorative DVD will also include all 26 official music videos, including his latest song entitled “Someday”.
This album, slated to be released on the 1st of May 2014, which is next week, can be digitally downloaded at his own website Songs of a Soul and all major digital stores. However, the 3-disc commemorative DVD will be available later on 11th of May 2014. The site also host several short samples of his songs, as well as the option to purchase some of his earlier albums and singles.
