After more than two decades of touching hearts across the globe, Zain Bhikha breathes new life into one of his most beloved classics, “A Child’s Prayer.” The brand-new video, released under Zain Bhikha Studios, reintroduces a soulful masterpiece that has long been a favourite among families, schools, and communities worldwide.
Originally featuring the tender voices of a young Rashid Bhikha and Naadira Alli, “A Child’s Prayer” stands out for its purity and simplicity, yet its message remains profoundly powerful. The song captures the innocence of a child’s conversation with the Divine, blending faith, hope, and a universal call for love and unity.
With its gentle melody and heartfelt lyrics, the song continues to inspire reflection and spiritual connection, reminding listeners – young and old alike, of the beauty found in sincere supplication (du’a).
Now available on both the Zain Bhikha and Zain Bhikha Kids YouTube channels, the new video offers a fresh visual experience while keeping the nostalgic warmth that has defined it for over twenty years. Whether during family time, bedtime reflection, or classroom learning, “A Child’s Prayer” remains a song that encourages togetherness, gratitude, and faith.
“This song has always been very close to my heart,” shared Zain Bhikha.
“When we first recorded it, I never imagined it would travel across generations the way it has. Revisiting it now feels like coming full circle, a reminder that the purest prayers come from a child’s heart.”
Simple yet profound, nostalgic yet evergreen, “A Child’s Prayer” continues to remind us that faith begins with sincerity and love begins with a prayer.
Nearly two decades after its first release, Zain Bhikha Studios has breathed new life into a timeless message with the remastered edition of “Can’t You See”, featuring Rashid Bhikha, Abdul Malik Ahmad of Native Deen, and the legendary Zain Bhikha himself.
Originally recorded in 2006 when Rashid was just thirteen, the song marked his debut under the mentorship of his father, Zain Bhikha – one of the most respected voices in Islamic music. The track, a seamless blend of rap and melodic vocals, tackles the harsh realities of drug abuse, the pain it inflicts on families, and the healing power of faith. Its message, producers say, feels “as urgent today as it did back then.”
A Song That Speaks to Every Generation
Through striking lyrics such as “Don’t let your friends drag you down, don’t let drugs steal your crown,” the song paints a raw yet hopeful picture of the battles faced by young people. “Can’t You See” reminds listeners that faith, resilience and guidance remain powerful shields against life’s darker temptations.
Now a seasoned filmmaker and father, Rashid Bhikha led the editing of the new video, infusing it with cinematic depth and a fresh perspective to connect with today’s generation.
“When Rashid first recorded this, he was simply a young boy with a voice and a cause,” reflects Zain.
“Today, he’s a father, and his experience adds even greater meaning to the message. It’s just as important now – perhaps even more so.”
Featuring Abdul Malik Ahmad of Native Deen
The track also features Abdul Malik Ahmad, co-founder of the American nasheed group Native Deen, whose compelling rap verses reinforce the song’s theme of awareness and hope. Together, the trio bridges generations in a dialogue of strength and spiritual guidance – proof that meaningful music never fades.
Available Now on All Platforms
“Can’t You See” is now streaming on Spotify and other major platforms, available in both voice-and-drum and voice-only versions. The official video can be viewed on the ZainBhikhaOfficial YouTube channel.
A Call to Action
Zain Bhikha Studios hopes the song will spark important conversations within families, schools and communities.
“Parents, educators and youth leaders — use this song to start honest conversations about drugs, peer pressure and faith,” the studio urges.
“Young people — remember, you are not alone. There is always another way.”
Through this re-release, Zain Bhikha Studios continues its mission to create faith-inspired art that uplifts, educates and unites, proving that powerful messages – like good music, only grow stronger with time.
